Pollution of rivers, lakes and seas is a major concern for people who seek to protect the environment. What are the possible causes of water pollution? And what effects does this have on animal life and human society?

In recent decades, environmental pollution has been receiving a great deal of media attention around the world due to its substantial impacts on our life. In this essay, I will discuss several causes leading to water contamination as well as negative consequences on human society and wildlife. Undoubtedly, there are various ways in which the water on our planet is polluted. A huge number of factories and enterprises are currently dumping untreated waste into the sea and rivers. For example, a winery in the Crimea dumped its waste into the Black Sea without any treatment facilities. In addition, pollution education has been extended to the general public and some communities around the world. In many remote areas, people do not have access to education and thus do not realize that their activities have a negative impact on the environment.

Secondly, there are several effects of rain on human and animal life. Generally, different species will be endangered due to lack of fresh water. For example, there are cases when animals die from chemical poisoning. As a result, this leads to disruption of the food chain and a reduction in the number of animals or even the extinction of species of aquatic creatures. Whereas a person may suffer from some dangerous diseases. Every year, countless people die around the world due to the use of polluted water.

In conclusion, waste discharged from factories and public awareness are the two main factors causing water pollution. These effects mentioned above have a major impact on both human society and animal life.
