The graph below shows the number of Computer and Internet users in different Arab countries.

The bar graph presents the proportion of Arab citizens with access to computers and the Internet across various countries. Overall, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait had the highest rates of both computer ownership and Internet usage, while the lowest figures were observed in Egypt, Syria, and other less digitally connected nations.
According to the data, approximately one-third of UAE citizens were Internet users, a significantly higher proportion than those who owned computers. Kuwait ranked second, though its figures were notably lower than those of the UAE, with around 10% of the population having access to both technologies.
In Lebanon, Internet usage slightly exceeded computer ownership, with about 50 per 1,000 people owning a computer. Saudi Arabia followed a similar pattern but with much lower figures—computer ownership stood at 0.7%, and Internet usage was even lower.
The remaining countries, including Morocco, Jordan, Oman, and Syria, reported under 0.5% for both indicators. These figures reflect limited technological access and low digital penetration in many parts of the Arab world at the time.
